Chalet Freya is a prestigious brand new chalet of approximately 400 square meters of living space and 70 square meters of terraces and balconies located in a private area at the upper part of the Chamonix valley, in Argentiere.
The situation and orientation of the chalet are exceptional: with its large garden of 2,750 square meters, in a calm environment. Facing south, the chalet offers an unobstructed view the entire Mont Blanc massif. It adjoins the forest which allows you to take advantage of the hiking trails directly on your doorstep. The famous Grands-Montets ski resort with its exceptional skiing is a ten minute walk away and the old village of Argentiere is not much further. Finally, the chalet is located a few minutes walk from a beginners ski area, the Argentiere cross-country ski loop, and one of the best bakeries in the Chamonix valley!

PERFECT FOR : Families or large groups, plenty of space for children to play and adults to relax. Close to Chamonix Center with Parking. INSIDE : Chalet Heidi is a lovely alpine chalet spread over four floors and has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 5 toilets. As you enter the chalet on the ground floor you arrive in the cosy living area with a large dining table for 10 people at the back of the room. Here there is a log burning fireplace and stairs to the upper levels. The fully fitted kitchen is at the back of the chalet with access to an extra WC and stairs down to teh back patio garden with outside dining table and chairs. The stairs to the lower level are off the kitchen and take you to a large family bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a bath and shower overhead, and a separate WC.. There is also a ski and boot room with boot dryers, and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor is a double bedroom and a twin room, both with ensuite shower rooms and toilets. Off the central landing is a large, family bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a separate WC. A small staircase leads to the roof level, which has 2 twin bedrooms. There is also a play space between the two rooms. The ceiling height is low on this level as it is in the roof. OUTSIDE : There is a pretty decked area at the front of the Chalet with a picnic bench to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains. The Chalet also has a small garden at the back with seating and outdoor dining set up. GREAT LOCATION : A short walk from the centre of Chamonix and the main ChamSud bus stop for easy access to the whole valley. GETTING AROUND : Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums. A night bus also runs from Argentiere to Les Houches and costs 4€ per person. USEFUL BITS : The chalet has WIFI provided by Orange which provides a good service. Kitchen has everything you need such as a Dishwasher, Gas hob, Fridge-Freezer, Kettle, Filter Coffee Machine, Toaster, Raclette Machine, Microwave and Oven. If you need to book a transfer from Geneva Airport we recommend Haute Transfer, Mountain Drop Offs and Swiss Tours. We can help organise ski passes so that they are waiting for you when you arrive. Please ask if you have any questions. YOUR ARRIVAL : Arrive any time after 16h and with our self-check-in process (via our guest platform Yaago), you do not need to worry about being a little later than planned. You will receive comprehensive information on how to find the chalet before you arrive. PARKING : Space for 2 cars to park outside, 1 at the front and 1 to the left of the Chalet. Summer Top Tip - This property is just a few minutes walk from the Aiguille du Midi lift station. There are lots of incredible hikes to be found from the mid station, and getting some altitude is a great way to start the day. Winter Top Tip - Take advantage of the close proximity to the main bus station, why not use the great connections to Courmayeur to have a ski day away in Italy?
