Stunning chalet on the slopes! Perfect spot for a week's skiing with the family. Backs onto the baby slopes for the kids learning to ski and just a few minutes walk from the main Grands Montets ski gondola. The chalet is fabulous with all the mod consee more
Stunning chalet on the slopes! Perfect spot for a week's skiing with the family. Backs onto the baby slopes for the kids learning to ski and just a few minutes walk from the main Grands Montets ski gondola. The chalet is fabulous with all the mod cons. Kitchen easily handled cooking dinner for 8 adults and 2 kids, with a dining table comfortably fitting us, and plenty of room in the living room to relax. The bakery round the corner was perfect for our morning croissants. The host also helped us organise a babysitter so we could have a fun night out in the local town. Hoping to stay again!!!

INSIDE : As you enter through the doorway to the chalet you will find yourself in the perfect place to store ski, hiking, and outdoor equipment after a day of enjoying the Alpine environment. There are boot warmers, ski racks, and storage space for you to use. This floor also has a washing machine, clothes dryer, and an extra refrigerator. On this ground floor you will find two bedrooms, both of which are dressed with a warm wooden effect, have king-sized beds (which can be converted to 2 singles) and plenty of wardrobe space. There are two ground floor bathrooms. The first has a shower, toilet, sink, and heated towel rack. The second has two sinks, a toilet, a shower with a bathtub, and a heated towel rack. There is a staircase leading up to the open first floor where the living room, kitchen, and dining room can be found. Warm, welcoming, and well-equipped with everything you would require for your enjoyment. The living area is cosy and relaxing, perfect after a busy day on the slopes or just to put your feet up in front of the fire with a good book. The kitchen is fully kitted out with appliances, perfect for your self-catering holiday. Facilities include an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and refrigerator with a freezer compartment. I will leave basic supplies for you including salt and pepper, herbs, spices, oil, tea and coffee, sugar, and a selection of cleaning products to help get you started. In the kitchen, there is a large traditional dining table with ample room for 10 guests. Following the stairs to the top floor, you will find the remaining three bedrooms of the chalet. All bedrooms are dressed with a warm wooden effect, have king-sized beds (which can be converted to 2 singles) and plenty of wardrobe space. The main and second bedroom on this level have beautiful views of the French Alps, with the main bedroom having a Juliet balcony. The top floor has a bathroom with shower and bathtub, sink, and heated towel rack. Next to this bathroom is a separate toilet. There is also an additional shower room next to the staircase OUTSIDE : From the kitchen there are double doors leading out onto the patio area which can be enjoyed all year round. Take in the beautiful scenery of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi with a glass of wine in the hot-tub, or enjoy the late afternoon sun setting over the French Alps. INSIDE : Chalet Heidi is a lovely alpine chalet spread over four floors and has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 5 toilets. As you enter the chalet on the ground floor you arrive in the cosy living area with a large dining table for 10 people at the back of the room. Here there is a log burning fireplace and stairs to the upper levels. The fully fitted kitchen is at the back of the chalet with access to an extra WC and stairs down to teh back patio garden with outside dining table and chairs. The stairs to the lower level are off the kitchen and take you to a large family bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a bath and shower overhead, and a separate WC.. There is also a ski and boot room with boot dryers, and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor is a double bedroom and a twin room, both with ensuite shower rooms and toilets. Off the central landing is a large, family bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a separate WC. A small staircase leads to the roof level, which has 2 twin bedrooms. There is also a play space between the two rooms. The ceiling height is low on this level as it is in the roof. OUTSIDE : There is a pretty decked area at the front of the Chalet with a picnic bench to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains. The Chalet also has a small garden at the back with seating and outdoor dining set up. GREAT LOCATION : A short walk from the centre of Chamonix and the main ChamSud bus stop for easy access to the whole valley. GETTING AROUND : Chamonix Holidays will provide your group with tourist cards/Carte d’hotes which give you free use of the trains in the valley, plus discounts at the pool and entry to museums.
